Well, hello there ya'll

Testing; One, Two, Three My name is Ashley Rosenberg and I am a Junior this year at the University of Georgia. My intentions are not much for this blog. Just simply getting my thoughts down on paper, which journalist are prone to do, right? With the turning of technology absolutely taking over the world in every aspect of our everyday lives, I have decided to kick the typical journal/diary to the curb and move it online. If no one reads this, so be it. But this is for me and getting how I feel out on paper. Or I guess you could say document. This is not to be professional, I'll blab on as I would if you were talking to me in person. It might get super personal, but I'll try to spare details at all times. So back to who I am. I used to Pole-Vault for UGA. But this year, more doors have opened for me and they looked a hell of a lot brighter than the one I was currently in. Don't get me wrong, pole-vaulting was a great way to remain grounded and set me straight for my first two years of college, but I was ready for a change and ready to start getting ready for my future. I went in for an interview with IMG College (AKA georgiadogs.com) and got the internship right away. In return for getting the internship, I had to stop vaulting. It may not seem like a big time commitment, but it sure is. I never had energy to do anything but sleep after practices and I had ZERO time to do things I wanted to do and join clubs or groups that I was interested in. Therefore, I made the decision to become a RAS. What's a RAS for those of you who skipped out on knowing the latest and greatest college lingo? Regular Ass Student. Or at least thats what us athletes call ya'll, or well, now me. BUT anywho, I decided to take the internship, which is EXTREMELY time consuming as well, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT. It's amazing. Really. I never thought I would enjoy interning and doing work with out getting paid (snotty, I know, but hey, I'm still a broke college student) but I do. I have learned so much in such little time and I am obsessed with the people I work with. They are all understanding and will help me with anything I don't get. I have already done my first standup, learned how to use a camera, and am slowly learning how to use final cut. So I'm signing off for now. I'll try my hardest to post updates of my oh-so-boring life. And if you're interested, keep checking back. If not, well sorry but I really don't care. I'll blog about anything and everything and it's your choice to decide if it's interesting or not. SOOOOO as my first blog post is officialllllly donzo, Yours truly, RAS, Burnt, at work (shh) and happy we best USC, finally. xoxoxo - A
